The Wildflower Candle is a perfect twist on our Concrete Vessel. These beautiful, vessels, poured in-house with silicone molds are then used as a blank canvas. A floral landscape is hand-drawn on the smooth concrete surface. The wildflower scene on this candle vary slightly, giving each candle a unique aesthetic. This flower-adorned vessel is not only beautiful in appearance, but also beautiful in meaning and purpose.
The label for the Wildflower Candle is made from Wildflower Paper. The paper itself is made is the highlands of Nepal, from the bark of a local plant called the Daphne bush. The paper is pressed with the seeds of 10 different species of flowers; Snapdragon, Petunia, Daisy, Beardtongue, Thyme, Poppy, Foxglove, Catchfly, Maiden Pinks, and Chamomile. Once you're finished with your candle you can repurpose your candle vessel. Place the candles' label under 1/8" of soil. Keep soil moist until the seeds in the paper begin to germinate.
With every purchase of a "Wildflower Candle," one dollar is donated to Onetreeplanted.org, an environmental charity focused on helping businesses give back to the environment by protecting biodiversity and engaging in reforestation efforts around the globe. One Tree Planted works with reforestation partners on almost all continents, including North America. One dollar donated to this organization plants one tree. This means that each Wildflower Candle purchased plants another tree.
Our donations will be focused on reforestation in North America. While partnering with the U.S Forest Service and the U.S State Forest and Conservation District, One Tree Planted helps reforest areas in California, Colorado, Florida, Oregon and several National Forests throughout the U.S.
